Another death reported at Country Stampede near Manhattan

Another man has died at Country Stampede.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Luke D. Nihart crashed his ATV at 3:20 a.m. Saturday morning. KHP says the St. George man was riding a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 ATV and entered the parking lot at a high rate of speed, lost control and rolled the ATV.

He was taken to Mercy Regional Hospital and pronounced dead at 5:20 a.m. He was not wearing a helmet.

This is the second death at the four-day music festival at the Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan.

19-year-old Jacob Kreutzer from Beaver Crossing, Nebraska died from an unexplained internal injury Thursday morning.

Both deaths are still under investigation.
