Ben Wyatt struck out six and allowed just two hits in the Lawrence Raiders’ 8-0, five-inning run-rule victory over Topeka Stars on Tuesday at Ice Field. The Raiders lost the second game, 9-2.

Sean Cesare went 2-for-3 with two doubles in Game 1. Austin Holladay homered, and Josh Holland went 2-for-2.

“Ben had only 66 pitches in five innings. He was extremely efficient,” coach Bryan Wyatt said.

The Raiders will meet Ottawa at 6 p.m. Thursday at Ice Field.
