Lenexa ? The Lawrence Raiders beat Blue Valley Northwest, 8-1, in a four-inning game that was shortened by rain on Saturday at the Nill Bros.-Louisville Slugger Classic.

“We hit the ball really well,” Lawrence coach Bryan Wyatt said.

The victory improved the Raiders to 2-5. They play again today in the classic at Johnson County 3&2 fields.
