Road south of Eagle Bend Golf Course to undergo overhaul

Work to rebuild a road south of Eagle Bend Golf Course will force some golfers and others to shift directions when heading to the course, Mutt Run Dog Park and shelters in the nearby Outlet park.

An overhaul begins Thursday along North 1200 Road, which turns into East 902 Road below the Clinton Lake dam. The work will prevent traffic from accessing the course, park and shelters from the south.,

Instead, drivers should come in from the north. For drivers coming from the south, that will mean driving north across the dam and then turning back onto the road below the dam.

Last year, a similar detour was in place as crews worked to rebuild East 902 Road north of the golf course. The project forced drivers to come in from the south, the same area targeted for overhaul in coming weeks.
