Denver ? The University of Colorado regents have met behind closed doors to discuss the school’s athletic membership in the Big 12 Conference.

University spokesman Ken McConnellogue said the regents planned to discuss the conference Tuesday evening, but declined to elaborate. Afterward, McConnellogue said there was no offer on the table for the school to join the Pac-10 and no announcement planned.
