The Journal-World invites readers to submit photos for the Friends and Neighbors and Refrigerator Door sections.

Friends and Neighbors photos must include people — no landscapes or animal photos. We do not accept studio portraits or photos advertising a business.

We try to identify everyone in the photo unless the group is 10 people or more.

Captions should include names, ages of children, and hometowns of the people in the photo, as well as the name and hometown of the person submitting it.

The Refrigerator Door marks milestone events for people, clubs and even businesses. Subjects must live or work in the Journal-World circulation area.

Photos can be submitted at LJWorld.com/submit/friendsandneighbors or LJWorld.com/contribute/refrigerator_door, or prints can be mailed to the Journal-World at P.O. Box 888, Lawrence, KS 66044.
