A 29-year-old Sedalia man was arrested early Saturday morning on charges of carrying a concealed weapon.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Ted Bordman, police were called to the Pool Room, 925 Iowa, for disorderly conduct and trespassing. The man was cooperative, and when police got him outside, they found an automatic springloaded knife on him, a weapon illegal in Kansas.

Bordman said the man hadn’t threatened anyone with the weapon.
