The National Weather Service has canceled a severe thunderstorm warning for Douglas County.

The warning covered east central Douglas County until 12:15 p.m. National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter-sized hail was located three miles southwest of Eudora, or eight miles southeast of Lawrence.

The storm was moving northeast at 20 mph. Eudora is in the path of the storm.

Smaller, pea-sized hail was reported in downtown Lawrence.
