Smooth moves: Put natural ingredients into a summer treat
In case you hadn’t noticed it’s hot outside. OK, it’s more than hot, it’s blisteringly nuclear. It’s the kind of weather where you work up a sweat just going out to get your paper in the morning or the mail at night.
So, why not cool down with a nice cold drink and get a serving or two of fruit while you’re at it?
We’re talking about smoothies, the fruit-based cousins of the more decadent ice cream-based milkshake. Their fruity profile means they have a grain of health in them to go along with a lovely taste and refreshingly cool disposition, which is pretty darn smooth, don’t you agree?
So, try a few of the ones we’ve provided or make your own on a hot night. Both your internal temperature and your taste buds will thank you.
