Topeka ? Lawrence’s Cactus went 2-0 on Saturday in the Hap Dumont NBC 18U World Series, defeating the Wichita Shockers, 4-1, and the Midwest Bruins, 11-9. Lawrence is 3-1 in the tourney.

Tanner Kilmer pitched seven innings in Game 1, limiting the Shockers to only one run. He didn’t walk a batter and struck out five. Colin Toalson relieved Ryan Scott in Game 2 and earned the victory. The Cactus (21-9) will face Play Ball Sports at 10:30 a.m. today.
