The squad lost to Flint Hills Wind, 6-5, then defeated Vernon Hills (Ill.), 7-3.

Jamie Jarrett had a double, while Alli New struck out six batters in the opening game loss. Megan Wright struck out seven in the second game. Dana Kramer was 3-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored.
