Work to fill cracks along stretches of 31st Street and Wakarusa Drive could lead to minor delays today for drivers, a city spokeswoman said Monday.

Beginning at 4:30 a.m., a city-hired contractor was scheduled to start filling cracks along 31st, east of Ousdahl Road, said Megan Gilliland, the city’s communications manager.

After that, she said, crews will be expected to shift their attention to Wakarusa, where cracks will be filled between Inverness Drive and 18th Street.

“Impacts to traffic should be minimal,” Gilliland said.
