Wichita — The Lawrence Cactus lost to the Kansas City Pioneers, 10-3, on Thursday at the Wichita State Pastime Tournament.
The Pioneers scored nine runs, only two earned, on five hits in the fifth inning. The Cactus had four errors in the inning.
Tim Lewis led the Cactus, going 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a stolen base.
The Cactus (16-7) will face the Oklahoma Drillers at 9 a.m. today and the Kansas City Mets at 1:30 p.m.
