D & D Tire, Uniroyal Tire and Lawrence Parks and Recreation announced Tuesday the donation of $1,042 to Parks and Rec’s Indoor Futbol league.

The money will be used for equipment for the league.

“(The Uniroyal Soccer Program) is about giving back and helping my community in supporting our local youth,” said Phil Dwyer from D & D Tire.

Since 2000 the program has donated nearly $13 million in funds and equipment, including more than 1 million soccer balls, to youth soccer programs.
