Police are searching for a silver Dodge Magnum with occupants who were reportedly involved in a strong-arm robbery.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Michael McLaren, a police officer met the victim at Ninth and Vermont streets about 4:30 a.m. The victim, a 34-year-old man, said he was robbed some time between 2 a.m. and 4:31 a.m. He said the robbers used physical force to take an unknown amount of cash.

The Dodge Magnum is described as having oversize chrome rims. The victim gave varying descriptions of the car’s occupants, ranging from two black men and one white woman to four black men and one white woman.

No one was injured in the incident.
