Manhattan ? Kansas State University has announced that Adm. Michael Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will give a Landon Lecture on March 3.

The lecture will be at 4 p.m. at the university’s McCain Auditorium. Mullen originally had been scheduled to speak on Aug. 31, but it was postponed because of scheduling conflicts.

Mullen became the 17th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in October of 2007.

Dennis C. Blair, director of national intelligence, is scheduled to give a Landon Lecture on Feb. 22.
