Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels will speak Friday at the Kansas Republican Party’s inaugural Red Ball and Boots Reception in Topeka as part of Kansas Days.

Daniels will speak during a reception that’s set for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Kansas Expocentre’s Agricultural Hall. For more information, call 785-234-3456.

During its state committee meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday, state GOP Chairwoman Amanda Adkins said the party will reveal its platform, “Our Commitment to Kansas.”
