Attracting retirees topic of meeting

The potential economic impact of attracting retirees to Douglas County will be the topic of a community meeting.

The meeting will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Health Facility, 200 Maine.

John Glassman, director of Douglas County Senior Services, will summarize results of a recent study conducted by researchers at Kansas University’s School of Social Welfare.
