ADHD presentation set for Thursday

A presentation on Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder will take place at Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.

The free presentation, “ADHD and Working Memory Deficits: New Approaches to Treatment,” will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Michele Berg, director for the Center for Learning Disorders at Family Service and Guidance Center in Topeka, and Avner Stern, an Overland Park psychologist and co-founder of Behavioral Health Specialists, will focus on “working memory,” which means remembering what to focus on or what to do next. The presentation also will highlight new and innovative ways to treat memory deficits.
