40 years ago: Auto plaza plan approved

After five owners of a quarter-section of land brought in a general development proposal, the City Commission tentatively moved to approve an auto plaza along U.S. 59, south and west of Lawrence. Auto dealer Jim Clark was the prime mover for the project.

This article, with all of its hypocrisy is enough to cause me to consider to having my profile removed from the LJW.

Not that anyone cares but I may very well make the statement through that method.

The fact a liar may tell you a truth is wonderful.

It is certainly possible. I would hope so.

Even Holocaust deniers admit WWII actually happened.

I just don't give them half-credit for that admission. Or for shaving points.

I mean, some may call it an ad hominem attack, but it is a valid analysis of credibility: Really what can you actually believe.

I believe the world is round.
