Topeka — Ethan Scott scored 11 points to lead the Veritas boys basketball team (3-5) to a 30-25 victory against Topeka Cair Paravel on Tuesday night.
Ethan Kay added seven points and Elijah Penny had six.
Shereen Fattaahi had 10 points in a 59-29 loss for the girls team (1-6).
Veritas will travel Friday to the Manhattan Chiefs.
