• Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department fitness classes at the Community Building have been canceled.
• The PRAXIS Series and School Leadership Series Tests scheduled for Jan. 9 at KU have been moved to Jan. 16. The same admission tickets will be used. Call (785) 864-2768 before 4:30 p.m. or e-mail tservice@ku.edu after 4:30 p.m. Friday.
• Lawrence Youth Symphony rehearsal is canceled.
• The VFW in Lawrence is closed.
• The Safe Kids Douglas County car seat checks scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon is canceled.
