Topeka ? Gov. Mark Parkinson will deliver the State of the State address at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, the first day of the 2010 legislative session.

The speech will be given to a joint session of the House and Senate in the Kansas House chamber.

During the speech, Parkinson is expected to outline his priorities for the session. After five rounds of budget cuts, the state still faces a projected shortfall of approximately $300 million.
