An event in which two key labor negotiators in Major League Baseball were scheduled to appear to discuss the sport’s key issues has been postponed.

Rob Manfred, a labor negotiator for the owners, was to appear with players union negotiator Steve Fehr today at 4 p.m. at KU Law School. Manfred’s flight from the Dominican Republic was canceled Sunday, making it impossible for him to get to Lawrence in time for the event.
