The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Jan. 29 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Eldon Herd and Chuck Hedges, first in A and B; Steven Vossler and Larry Weatherholt, second in A; Kent McCullough and John Fittell, third in A; Lester Dalton and Mary Fenlon, fourth in A; and Ann Thompson and Gary Joyce, second in B and first in C.

East-West winners were Klee Zaricky and Sally Taylor, first in A and B; David Piro and Paul Heitzman, second in A; Shirley Reese and Carol Ball, third in A and second in B; Jan O’Connor and Yvonne Hedges, fourth in A and third in B; Harry Talley and Don Daugherty, fourth in B and first in C; and Lois Clark and Catherine Blumenfeld, second in C.

The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of Feb. 1 was directed by Virginia Seaver. East-West winners were Steven Vossler and James Masilamani, first in A; Craig Huneke and Lois Clark, second in A, and first in B and C; and Julia Dalton and Mary Fenlon, third in A.  

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 3 was directed by Chris Lane. North-South winners were Steven Vossler and Larry Weatherholt, first in A; Charles Hedges and Chris Lane, second in A and first in B; John Oxley and Klee Zaricky, third in A; Mark Osborn and Gary Joyce, fourth in A and second in B; Grant Sutton and Catherine Blumenfeld, third in B; Bebe Huxtable and Bonnie Haney, first in C; and Earle Core and Albert Ballard, second in C.

East-West winners were Paul Heitzman and David Piro, first in A; Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges, second in A and first in B; Mary Mertz and Shari Krentzel, third in A and second in B; Lois Clark and Shirley Reese, fourth in A and third in B; Judy Bevan and Barbara McCorkle, first in C; and Carol Ball and John Reese, second in C.

The Sunday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 7 was directed by Chris Lane. Winners were Jeremy Martin and Craig Huneke, first; Chris Lane and Eleanor Patton, second; Marilyn Martin and Jean Khatib, third; and Ann Thompson and Adelaide Nyquist, fourth.

The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 8 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver. Winners were Donna Johnson and James Masilamani, first; John Fittell and Bill Allen, second; Jerry Sloan and Peter Petillo, third; and Virginia Seaver and Jan O’Connor, fourth.

University Bridge Club announces results of its Feb. 6 meeting, with hosts Paul and Carolyn Jordan.

Blue winners were Alice Akin, first; Virginia Williams, second; Ray Ikenberry, third; Tom Waller, fourth; and Marc Kuepker, fifth.

Pink winners were Wanda Kring, first; Janet Dunn, second; Cora Kuepker, third; Jane Golden, fourth; and Florence McNicoll, fifth.

The club also announces results of its Feb. 13 meeting, with hosts John and Willi Stark and Marc and Cora Kuepker.

Blue winners were Ray Ikenberry, first; Lois Liebert, second; Marc Kuepker, third; Florence McNicoll, fourth; and Dottie Miller, fifth.

Pink winners were Cathy Stephens, first; Alice Akin, second; Willi Stark, third; Jo Anne Hicks, fourth; and Wanda Kring, fifth.

Over the Rainbow Doll Club met Feb. 11 at the home of Doris Ottinger. Members brought their club doll dressed in the Valentine costume they created. Prizes were awarded to Janet Lukehart, Kelsey McGinn, Brenda Owens and Val Fittell. Gail Brewster made paper dolls for each member to cut out, assemble and dress. Each of the club dolls also received a set of paper dolls. The Birthday Party committee is working on the June birthday party to celebrate the club doll’s third birthday. Suzanne McGinn won the door prize, and Finnegan, the monkey, went home with her.
