Lawrence chiropractor offering service for donation to Leukemia Lymphoma Society
Dr. Joseph Hugunin, owner of Sport and Spine Chiropractic in Lawrence, is offering a special deal on Saturday, Feb. 20.
For $25, new patients will receive a consultation, examination and treatment, and all of the money will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. His established patients will receive a treatment for $25.
Dynelle Sarmiento, office administrator, said anyone with any type of muscle pain would benefit from Hugunin’s service.
Besides chiropractic treatment, he performs Active Release Technique — similar to a soft tissue massage.
Sarmiento said he can use the technique for headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, tennis elbow, knee problems.
“He gets in there and he works your muscles and tendons to lengthen them and strengthen them, to get you more flexible and moving around and to get everything where it’s suppose to be.”
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.
The office, located at 3300 Clinton Parkway Court, Suite 100, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
