The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a winter weather advisory for Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte and Johnson counties.

The advisory will be in effect until 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Gusting winds of up to 45 miles per hour are expected along with one to two inches of snow accumulation. The blowing snow will lower visibility and make traveling more difficult.
