Seabury suffers heartbreaker at Elwood

February 13, 2010

— Seabury cut an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit to two points, but couldn’t come any closer in a 70-66 high school boys basketball loss to Elwood on Friday night.

“I could not have been prouder of the effort that we gave,” Seabury coach Mike Harding said. “Everybody played hard.”

Bill Gibbs led Seabury with 31 points. Reed Grabill added 20 points, and Skyler Malone had 13 points and 22 rebounds.

Seabury (9-4) will play at Flint Hills Christian on Tuesday night.
