Free program about how to improve strength, flexibility offered Friday at Douglas County fairgrounds

The Family and Community Education Council in Douglas County is offering a FREE program on strength and flexibility.

The program, “Exercise We Need to Enhance Strength and Agility,” will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in the Dreher Family 4-H Building at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St.

It is for ALL ages and is designed to learn about the importance of strength and flexibility exercises and how to do them properly. There will be a demonstration of simple, easy exercises that anyone can do.

The hourlong program will be given by Pat Middaugh, instructor of exercise with Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department.
