Manhattan ? The Veritas Christian girls basketball team fell to Flint Hills Christian, 40-29, on Saturday.

“We were hoping to make a run in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t make our shots and fell a little short tonight,” Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said.

Ellen Phillips and Shereen Fattaahi led the Eagles with six points apiece.

Veritas (1-14) will travel to Midland Adventist on Monday.
