KU baseball ranked in two polls

The Kansas University baseball team was ranked in two polls released on Monday. The Jayhawks checked in at No. 25 in the Rivals college baseball preseason top 25 poll and were ranked No. 33 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association preseason poll.

Kansas was one of two Big 12 teams ranked in the Rivals poll. Texas was ranked No. 1.

The NCBWA poll also ranked Texas No. 1, followed by Oklahoma (No. 25) and Texas A&M (No. 28) from the Big 12.

Kansas opens the 2010 season on on Feb. 19 against Eastern Michigan at Hoglund Ballpark.

KU-OSU baseball on national TV

The Big 12 Conference announced its 2010 college baseball television schedule on Fox Sports Net (Sunflower chs. 36, 236) on Monday.

Six games will be featured in this package, including the Kansas-Oklahoma State game at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 in Stillwater, Okla.
