Wichita ? Several Christmas party guests in Wichita are accused of stealing gifts from under the host family’s tree.

The Wichita Eagle reported that the robbery happened early Sunday.

A Wichita police spokesman, Sgt. Steve Yarberry, says a 19-year-old man reportedly invited five people to his family’s home. The guests are accused of beating up the man and his 18-year-old friend while taking a flatscreen TV and presents from under the tree.

The 19-year-old was treated for a broken nose, and his 18-year-old friend suffered minor injuries.
