Baker University president Dr. Pat Long announced Thursday that Theresa Yetmar has been named the school’s new athletic director, a position she will assume January 1, 2011.

Yetmar earned her undergraduate degree (2002) and Master’s in Business Administration (2006) from Baker.

She worked as an assistant athletic director to Dan Harris from 2003 to 2009 and has been the school’s interim AD since Harris’ retirement in 2009.

Yetmar played on the women’s basketball team from 1998 to 2002 and was recognized as an NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete.
