2 KCK men arrested in De Soto

Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Kansas City, Kan., men Tuesday night in De Soto.

Officers said they approached the two men at 9 p.m. Tuesday. But Jazzeusai Walker, 23, and Robert Moore, 27, both ran away. Walker was quickly apprehended and placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant in Wyandotte County, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies said Moore broke into two De Soto homes and stole a minivan, which he used to lead deputies on a chase. About 3 a.m. Wednesday, Moore was arrested in Lenexa while attempting to break into a home. Both men were being held Wednesday at the New Century Adult Detention Center. Moore faced several theft charges.
