Tonganoxie — After dissecting Bishop Ward’s zone early on, the Tonganoxie High boys basketball team couldn’t maintain that success in the second half Tuesday and fell to the Cyclones.

The Chieftains hit six of their 11 shot attempts in the first quarter. THS (0-2 overall, 0-2 Kaw Valley League) couldn’t operate as smoothly, however, in the second half and the team shot 7-for-23 in the final 16 minutes.
