Topeka ? Veritas Christian school was 13-for-13 from the free-throw line — including 4-for-4 in overtime — in a 62-58 boys basketball victory Friday over Cair Paravel.

“It was a great game,” Veritas coach Gary Hammer said. “It was back and forth, tight through the whole game. We just made the key baskets and the key stops on defense when we needed to.”

Elijah Penny led Veritas (4-1) with 25 points. Nate Scott added 11, and Ethan Scott and Thomas Bacher contributed 10 apiece.

Veritas will travel Tuesday to Belton, Mo., to face Christ Prep Academy.
