OLPE ? Freshman shooting guard Khadre Lane scored 22 points in Seabury Academy’s 59-51 season-opening boys basketball victory over Olpe on Friday night.

Josh McDermott scored 13 points, while Johnny McDermott and Reed Grabill had 11 apiece for Seabury.

“Khadre started the game off with a monstrous dunk that got us going,” said first-year coach Ashley Battles. “The guys played hard, executed.”

Seabury will travel to Raymore Peculiar on Tuesday.
