The Boy Scouts of Troop 52, chartered to First United Methodist Church of Lawrence, held their fall Court of Honor Sept. 14 at the church’s Celebration Center. A total of 98 merit badges were awarded as well as the following rank advancements: Eric Long, Eagle; Eli Schneck and Gavin Spence, Life; Robert Newman, Star; Lawrence Chen, First Class; Andrew Bireta, Ryan Glogau, John McArthur, John Peterson, Liam Rausch and Mark Smith, Tenderfoot.

The crew that participated in the Philmont High Adventure Trek was recognized for their accomplishment.

Eric Glogau was recognized for his participation at the Boy Scouts’ 2010 National Jamboree.
