Lawrence police are searching for two male suspects in an armed robbery early Thursday morning in the 1100 block of Louisiana Street.

According to Lawrence police Sgt. Susan Hadl, three women, ages 19, 20 and 20, were in their third-floor apartment about 12:30 Thursday morning when they heard a knock on their door.

Hadl said two black men entered the apartment, one with a gun. One man made the women go into one room, while the other searched through the apartment. After less than five minutes, the men left with at least a television and a cell phone. It is unknown if they stole anything else.

Hadl said the men were college-aged and of average stature. One man was wearing a red hoodie, and the other was wearing a gray hoodie and a red ballcap.

No one was injured in the incident.
