Haskell drops football opener

Joe Morris’ 17-yard touchdown run with 1:24 left lifted Bacone College’s football team to a 20-16 victory over Haskell on Saturday night in the season opener for both teams.

Haskell will travel to McPherson for a 7 p.m. game Saturday.

WOW!! Are you kidding me??? This is all the PR Haskell can get for the hard fought football game on Saturday!! LJ World I know you can do a little better than this!

That's the LJ World for you...a Saturday night when nobody else in town is playing and they cant send somebody over, no KU, no high school games..nothing. They been doing it for years though.

It would be nice to read a bit more about the games at Haskell since some of us can't always make it to the games! Our son plays for the team and we live in Washington state and all we can find on the game was some kids name that doesn't even attend Haskell?! How sad! If it weren't for our son telling us about what is going on we would have thought the game got cancelled. Do your jobs LJ World! report on ALL that goes on in your town!
