How do you describe “Delocated!” (9 p.m., Sunday, Cartoon Network)? Like every Adult Swim offering, be they live-action or animated, “Delocated!” appears to have been shot on budget of roughly 89 cents. Its silly plot involves a clueless guy named Jon who is shuttled into the witness protection system after testifying against The Mirminskys, a Russian mob family from Brooklyn.

Jon then agrees to have his family appear on a “Real World”-style reality show shot in a sweet New York City loft. The absurdity is compounded only by his agreement to have his family always appear in ski masks and have their voices disguised. He supplements his ruse with a never-ending parade of wigs and facial hair, often worn over his ski mask.

While hard to top for sheer silliness, “Delocated!” offers a smart sendup of the reality genre by making the network and its staff part of its absurd story.

Between the glib and superficial TV producers, the explosively violent and over-the-top mobster stereotypes and dim-witted Jon, you never really know who is in charge on “Delocated!” And with a show this funny, it really doesn’t matter.

• Colin Ferguson (“Eureka”) stars in the 2010 sequel shocker “Lake Placid 3” (8 p.m., today, Syfy). We know the Syfy network is a whole lot fancier than the old SciFi network because now even their cheap and cheesy Saturday-night shockers seem to cross over and promote Syfy shows.

Ferguson plays a game warden who moves his family to a badly named body of water, infamous for its fatal crocodile attacks. The locals all say the lake has been free of angry reptiles for some time. But nobody told the warden’s son, who discovers some baby crocs and starts feeding them on the side.

• Tonight’s installment of “Garbage Moguls” (7 p.m., today, National Geographic) follows the intrepid employees of TerraCycle, innovative recyclers and product designers who fashion new items out of the stuff the rest of us throw away.

Tonight’s challenge is to make a line of pet products from discarded dog-food bags.

• The new series “Swamp People” (9 p.m., Sunday, History) looks at Louisiana’s unique Cajun culture and the customs of a remote people dating back hundreds of years.

Descendants of French-speaking refugees forced out of Canada in the 18th century, the Cajuns are hardy survivors whose cuisine, music and way of life has roots that stretch back to America’s earliest days.

“People” kicks off with a look at an annual ritual, the 30-day alligator hunting season, that has been an essential part of the Cajun story since anyone can remember.

• For those who care, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” (9 p.m., Sunday, E!) enters a new season, followed by “The Spin Crowd” (9:30 p.m.), a celebration of Hollywood publicists, the very folks who make some people care about the Kardashians in the first place.
