A section of Iowa Street beginning at Bob Billings Parkway will be closed starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday so the city can evaluate if pavement work needs to be done.

The northbound inside lane from the Bob Billings Parkway to about 500 feet south will be shut down. The lane is expected to reopen before noon.

If the road needs to be patched, city crews will shut down the same section of road on Thursday or Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. At that time, single-lane closures are expected and delays will be likely.
