Sacramento, Calif. ? Lawrence’s Alexa Harmon-Thomas placed second in her preliminary heat of the 200 hurdles and fourth in her heat in the 100 hurdles Saturday at the USATF Junior Olympic Track and Field championships.

She had a time of 27.53 in the 200 hurdles, easily qualifying for today’s final. She had a time of 14.54 in the 100 hurdles and marched to today’s final.
