Power has been restored to most of Douglas County after a windy Thursday night.

At about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, more than 1,800 Douglas County residents were without power.

According to Westar Energy’s outage map, the areas affected were Lawrence Avenue between Sixth and Ninth streets, around 25th and Iowa streets, the KU campus area and southwest Lawrence.
