Jonathan Morrison of Eudora was awarded Eagle Scout rank at a Court of Honor held April 10 at Olathe Christian Church.

As a member of Cub Scout Pack 3064 of Eudora, he earned the Arrow of Light and joined Boy Scout Troop 64 in 2003. Morrison earned 33 merit badges and served as patrol leader, chaplain aide, quartermaster, assistant senior patrol leader and senior patrol leader. He completed Brownsea training in 2005 and was inducted into the national BSA honor camping society Order of the Arrow, also in 2005. Morrison was inducted into the Tribe of Mic-O-Say at Camp Bartle.

He attended summer camp at Camp Naish and Camp Bartle, and traveled to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and Somers BSA Canoe Base in Minnesota. Morrison was on staff for two years at Pelathe Cub Scout Day Camp and at Camp Naish in 2007. He received the Paul Bunyan Woodsman Award.

Morrison, the son of Jim and Kasey Morrison of Eudora, will graduate from Eudora High School this May. His brother, Joel, is also an Eagle Scout.
