Jayhawk tennis tumbles, 6-1

Kansas’ Ekaterina Morozova returns a serve during the No. 1 doubles match against Texas Tech. Morozova won her doubles and singles matches, but KU fell to Tech, 6-1, on Friday at the Jayhawk Tennis Facility.

Sophomore Ekaterina Morozova won her singles and doubles matches, but Kansas University’s tennis team fell to Texas Tech, 6-1, at the Jayhawk Tennis Facility.

Morozova paired with sophomore Erin Wilbert at the No. 1 doubles position to defeat TTU’s Ullathorne and Dynka, 8-6.

At No. 1 singles, Morozova defeated Tech’s Sandra Dynka, 6-5, 6-2.

KU fell to 9-13 overall and 1-9 in Big 12 play, while Texas Tech improved to 10-10 overall and 5-5 in the Big 12.
