KU baseball’s rally falls short at Nebraska

? Kansas senior Robby Price and junior Jimmy Waters hit late home runs, but it was too little too late. Nebraska used a five-run second inning to score an 11-7 Big 12 baseball victory over the Jayhawks on Friday at Haymarket Park.

The Jayhawks took an early lead in the top of the first, and then watched the home team score 10 consecutive runs to take command of the game. The big inning for Nebraska was the bottom of the second, where the Huskers sent 10 men to the plate in a five-run inning.

Kansas dropped its fourth-straight conference game and fell to 20-14-1 overall and 3-6-1 in the Big 12.
