Douglas County commissioners agreed Wednesday to seek bids for a planned $2.9 million project to resurface and add paved shoulders along County Road 1023/458, from Stull to County Road 1.

The 10.5-mile-long project would be expected to begin in July, last for three months and stretch around the western and southern edges of Clinton Lake, ending just north of the town of Lone Star.
