From the Lawrence Daily World for April 6, 1910: “There are due to be better accommodations at Pinckney School. There is a plan to add four more rooms that are absolutely necessary to deal with the crowding, particularly in the fourth and fifth grades. … Momentum continues to build for the April 16 spring cleanup day and it would appear a lot will get done to the benefit of Lawrence.”
