— Kansas University second baseman Robby Price was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday, the second straight week the senior has earned the honor.

It marked the first time in school history a KU player has garnered the conference honor in consecutive weeks.

Price, a senior from Lawrence, hit .550 in five games last week. He extended his season-best hitting streak to 13 games with multiple-hit efforts in four of KU’s five contests. The senior collected a home run with eight runs scored and eight RBIs.
